3 Common Myths In The Gym BUSTED:

1. Weight Training Makes Women Bulky

Sorry women, but that side of the gym you like to avoid is paramount in shedding unwanted body fat! Pumping iron is one of the best ways to increase your body's fat burning capabilities because it helps boost your metabolism for up from 24-48 hours if it is done right! If I had to choose between cardio and weights for people that wanted to lose fat, I would tell them that weight training is more important! Just because you pick up some dumbbells doesn't mean you're going to look like a body builder. You women simply don't produce the same amount of testosterone as men which is a vital piece of the muscle building puzzle.

2. Long Cardio Sessions Are Needed For Fat Burning

See my post from a couple days ago. If you need a little reminder I have two words for you: interval training. Studies have proven high intensity bouts of interval training are more beneficial for increasing metabolic disturbance and boosting all fitness levels.

3. There Is A Magic Pill To Solve Your Fitness Problems


Nope. None at all. Forget the gimmicks, lace up those shoes and grab a towel because you need to have a consistent training routine and good nutrition to see the changes you want!
